Things are heating up for summer and the clothes are no exception. There are some expected and some not so expected trends floating through the universe this season. But where do we find these trends for the plus size babe? Have no fear! I’ve don’t the dirty work and found this seasons hottest trends that work with every gals budget.
Summer Whites

The color for spring was pink. But summers hottest trend is white. White Hot if you will.

Bold Prints

On the other end of the spectrum big loud prints with loads of color are all the rage. Done are the dainty mini prints of 2019. This season we want our outfit as loud as the Harry Styles album playing in our car.

Crochet

Speaking of contradictory, crochet for summer is gripping us tight. This summer we are turning a winter staple into a summer flash. Crochet has become one of the hottest trends, figuratively and literally.

Cut Outs
This trend has been hanging around for about 2 years. This might be the last time we see this trend for awhile, so enjoy it while it’s still fresh.

Headscarves

Circling back on the winter for summer theme, scarves for summer are a new trend we are seeing. Instead of the chunky wool scarves, we are looking at smaller more dainty head scarves.

The Coastal Grandma

This was the most unexpected but also the most affluent trend of the season. If you’re unsure of what the coastal grandma aesthetic is think Diane Keaton in Something’s Gotta Give. It’s soft light fabrics like linen and cotton. It is light airy neutral colors with bucket hats and light scarves.

These fun simple trends are an easy way to try something new this year. I personally had no idea I was so in love with the coastal grandma aesthetic. Are you venturing out of your comfort zone for a new summer trend?
